On June 20, 2007 the Access Board published proposed accessibility guidelines for outdoor developed areas. These proposed guidelines address accessibility to trails, camping and picnic areas, and beach access routes. Members of the public are encouraged to provide comments on these proposed guidelines. In particular, the Board is interested in hearing from persons with disabilities who are active in the outdoors, landscape architects, park administrators, and others.
