The Design Council (UK) has created the Inclusive Design Hub for the built environment. It covers buildings and outdoor spaces, in all phases of development including planning, design and construction, right through to the management of those buildings and places. It is a collection of resources and we do not promote the use of one over the other.

On May 27, 2014, HUD announced issuance of a Notice permitting use of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design under title II of the ADA, with identified exceptions (see Section V of the Notice), as an alternative to UFAS for Section 504 compliance. The Notice was published in the Federal Register on Friday, May 23, 2014 with the established effective dates.

U.S. Specialists Visit Moscow School for Disabled
Three staff members of Boston's Institute for Human Centered Design teamed up with Perspektiva, a Moscow-based NGO that strives to improve the well-being of disabled people, to share experiences on providing the best possible care and facilities at Moscow's Special School No. 532.
In honor of the 24th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we are proud to host an exhibition of artist with disabilities as well as hold a poetry slam with poets or spoken word artists with disabilities at the Institute for Human Centered Design (IHCD).
